I was lurking over at /r/drifting, when I saw DriftIdiot ( !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ), posted this pic of him towing his s14 to a drift event (towed by a HF hitch). Yeah, I understand this is unsafe for the car even if you put it in neutral, however, is it legal in Jersey? Like if I wanted to tow my project car from the guy I bought it from, back home, could I do this without having the cops freak out as long as I take it real slow?

This badge explains a lot.

I'm no expert with towing - but if that's his Aztek, his cool points just went through the roof.

I really like his Zenki. It's pretty understated (dark blue with black wheels is an awesome color combo) and he hasn't gone too nuts with the tuning either. 7/10 Sparfpoints (to get another 3 it would have to be a Kouki with the US/Euro-spec front).
I hope he keeps it this way, since it's a lot more interesting to see low power drifting than OMGWTFBBQ power drifting at a pro level (as skilled as they might be, it gets a bit too much for my taste).

Yeah, is it me or has the aztek become really cool. I'm beginning to think some 20 years down the line its gonna be a classic, and a rare one at that too.

I've got no clue in Jersey. I see this in Texas all the time, sometimes two cars being pulled in series. I don't see why it's any more dangerous than a tow dolly if the steering wheel is locked.

This is how I towed my 190 track car (5 speed) to rally-cross last time. Not really a big deal for a manual car as long as it's got fluid in it and the steering's unlocked. I had to weld additional support brackets on the front of the car so I knew nothing would break it loose. I ran the safety chains to the car too though, not just to the HF draw-bar. If those pins break I'd rather not watch my pride and joy go off the road at 60 MPH...

The "world's ugliest car" always has potential to be something special.
For me, it has nothing to do with Breaking Bad. It would be a challenge to rock a hated car.

Why would it be unsafe? RV owners do it all the time, they make tow bars specifically for this purpose. As for legality in NJ, it's all good as long as the car needs a brake hookup with breakaway function:

I'd be lying if I said breaking bad had nothing to do with it. One things for sure, if you drive an Aztek, you do what you like and don't care what other people think. Isn't that the definition of cool?
Also it's just different.

An PONTIAC AZTEK satin jacked would be required attire.
I would show up at car and coffee events the night before and set up the fucking tent. Sleep. Then make my own coffee.

He might want to invest in a receiver with a bit more drop.
But he IS a drifter, so.... DAT ANGLE.
